At just twenty years old, Kinga Glyk is considered by many to be one of the best and most interesting bassists of the new generation of emerging musicians in the jazz blues genre in Poland. Her music is the result of the intersection between the music developed in her country since the 70s, the traditional American model and rhythmic references learned from other contemporary cultures. A current jazz connected with the interest in all popular expressions initiated by musicians such as Jaco Pastorius or Stan Clarke, with a modernizing touch.

She began her musical career at the age of twelve playing in the family group with her father, Irek Glyk and her brother Patrick. Despite her young age, Kinga has toured live halfway around the world, from Europe to Indonesia, Canada and the United States. Last October she presented her latest album ‘Dream’, recorded in studios with musicians of the stature of Greg Hutchinson, Tim Garland and Nitai Hershkovits and, thanks to which, she has obtained a publishing contract with the giant Warner Music.
