As a figure in Belgian jazz, the list of his collaborations is as long as a day without chips, the trumpeter Jean-Paul Estiévenart has a successful career behind him and has played with a good number of great figures such as Enrico Pieranuzzi, Avishai Cohen, the Brussels Jazz Orchestra, Perico Sambeat, and Maria Schneider.

His talent has been recognised with important awards, such as the Django d'Or Award 2006 and the Octaves de la Musique Award 2009. As a musician, he stands out for his ability to improvise, his subtlety in interpretation, and his energy.

After numerous collaborative projects and leading different ensembles, the trumpeter created this luxury quintet for a residency at the Brussels Jazz Festival and is now arriving for the first time in the islands.
