AMB EL PATROCINI:
AMB LA COLABORACIÓ:

Celebram la diversitat del jazz.

Each year, the Alternatilla Jazz Festival turns the Balearic Islands into a crossroads of music. For over two weeks, Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera host a festival like no other: itinerant, close to its audience, and with a strong identity.

In 2025 we turn to France. We want to explore its fascinating jazz universe, from established names to emerging talents, and connect them with local and national musicians.

Because at Alternatilla, jazz knows no borders: what matters is the encounter.

Vive le Jazz!

The poster 2025

This year’s poster is more than an image: it is an invitation.

A golden trumpet that, instead of notes, pours out clusters of grapes. Because jazz, like wine, is born from the land, shaped with patience, and enjoyed with intensity.

France, guest country in 2025, is the cradle of a universal wine tradition. And Mallorca, together with Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera, shares that same passion. This poster is a tribute to that invisible bond: two territories that, through music and culture, know how to converse and celebrate each other.

The trumpet becomes both a glass and a vineyard, a symbol of how art and life intertwine. Music flows like fine wine: full-bodied, nuanced, soulful.

A poster that reminds us jazz is not only to be heard: it is to be savoured.

  • Travelling festival: we bring jazz to theatres, auditoriums and unique venues across all the islands.
  • Unique encounters: Ménage à Jazz concerts, where international and local artists share creation and performance, embracing improvisation.
  • More than concerts: the programme also includes mediation activities: participatory sessions such as workshops, talks, masterclasses or professional days, designed to bridge artists and audiences; actions that bring artistic creation closer to the community, making it more accessible, understandable and alive.
  • Social commitment: sustainability, gender equality, inclusion and cultural responsibility.
  • We're not a mega-festival. We stand for warmth, quality and a sense of place, a true connection to the territory.

A diverse team passionate about music, photography, literature, cinema and the arts in all their forms. We believe culture is a common good and a driver of sustainable development.

From our independence, we promote cultural projects that respect people and the environment. Today, the jazz festival is at the heart of our work, but we also organise concerts, exhibitions, educational activities and editorial collaborations.
