«A Sea of Jazz» is the approach to jazz course led by Roberto Fonseca that will be held on 3 and 4 December at the Casa des Poble in Esporles

A unique opportunity to discover how jazz is present in the different musical styles that we all know. From classical music, pop or rock to hip hop or Latin music, the structures of jazz are perfectly recognizable in all of them.

With the help of Roberto Fonseca, you will be able to discover both the musical language of jazz and its harmonic progression or rhythmic formation. A fascinating exploration of the melodic, sonic and rhythmic relationships that make up this form of expression with which you can express your musical instrument.

Jazz is not just another musical genre. Rich in nuances and overflowing with creativity, jazz often breaks the rigid structures that characterize other genres. A music that invites us to play with creativity and gives rise to improvisation, improving originality, fluidity, freedom and musical flexibility.

Get your ticket for the workshop that will teach Roberto Fonseca on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 December at the Casa des Poble de Esporles. On Saturday there will be two shifts: in the morning, from 10.30 to 13.30 h. and in the afternoon, from 15.30 to 18.30 h. On Sunday there will be a single morning session from 10.30 to 13.30 h.
