DONA’m Jazz! DONA’li Jazz! - Women & Jazz: Give me jazz, give her jazz

We keep the spirit of the Catalan title —DONA means both “woman” and “give”— to frame a professional day centred on women’s presence and leadership in contemporary jazz. Musicians, cultural managers, journalists, programmers and educators gather to exchange experiences, identify gaps and share gender-aware practices that travel from policy to stage.

At the core, a roundtable on leadership and visibility: the real numbers today, the barriers that remain, the role of festivals, schools and media, and how to turn commitments into action (programming, communications, care and safety, data and evaluation). A conversation anchored in cases, tools and takeaways.

We’ll close with open floor Q&A and a concise ten-point commitment to carry through the festival and beyond.
