For this Sa Pobla midday set, the quartet brings Fernando Brox’s supple, imaginative flute (classical training, later jazz turn and a recent Fresh Sound release), Marko Lohikari’s warm double bass, French pianist Pierre Bauzerand’s lyrical touch at the piano, and Sinéad Cormican’s voice-and-violin—Mallorcan with Irish roots, moving between classical and jazz. Four voices meeting for the first time under the Alternatilla umbrella.
