Considered as part of the greatest and most recognized Cuban musicians of their time, this band had the excellent idea to be together on stage in October 2017 in Toulouse (south of France)! Nine months later, the group gathered again all the time through the "Studio Elixir" of Toulouse. With its formidable compositions and covers printed by The Committee is always marked with the fluidity and energy that characterized this band.

Afrobeat, funk, latin jazz, lullaby ... a "21st century cuban groove" to put in all ears. The Committee is above all the continuity of the great history of Cuban music. The transmission of music from one generation to another is still very important on the island. This solid foundation is what allowed this music to evolve for decades without even forgetting its roots. The two, The Committee pays a warm tribute to past generations (Chucho Valdés, Emiliano Salvador, Gabriel Hernández ...), to some unforgettable artists like Miles Davis; and being a means for those young musicians to express themselves in an unconventional way, apart from their usual training and to offer new songs, arrangements and musical atmospheres.

Everything and his young age, his 15 or 20 years of stage give a real maturity to the album. The harmony and structure of the songs demonstrate this throughout the songs. Last but not least, on stage it is always a great pleasure to see how the Committee evolves towards where its unlimited energy and musical generosity are quickly spread.
