The important role of public-private partnerships, which will be developed within the framework of the Alternatilla Jazz Festival 2022.
It will be based on the premise that the 2030 Agenda, in SDG 8 on economic growth and decent work, recommends development-oriented policies that support productive activities, the creation of decent jobs, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation.
However, in the context of the cultural and creative sectors, entities encounter great difficulties both at local and national level in maintaining and making sustainable their activity over time, which has led to this sector being perceived as unstable and somewhat precarious. In this sense, the role of public administrations is fundamental, since they must guarantee the cultural rights of all and promote ecosystems in which cultural entities have greater legal certainty to develop.
In this workshop we will discuss issues related to the sustainability of cultural enterprises and/or agents, the difficulties of maintaining support for private cultural projects over time from public administrations, the need to measure the impacts of culture in order to highlight its transversal role in society.
