Two young voices, one shared urge: to improvise the now.

Inside the warm hush of the Claustre de Sant Bonaventura auditorium, old stone invites close listening: piano and tenor sax in dialogue, lines that breathe and melodies unfolding like a conversation between friends. A 17th-century setting turned sonic sanctuary.

Levi Harvey, the Paris-based Franco-British pianist, is among the most exciting new arrivals: a 2023 graduate of the CNSM and first prize winner at the Chorus Lausanne International Jazz Piano Competition that same year. Modern poise, swing and curiosity in equal measure.

Jérémie Lucchese, a tenor saxophonist from southern France, likewise graduated from the CNSM in 2023. His music draws on the Northern European and New York scenes, with strong melodies and improvisation where the moment rules. Together they’ve brought their duo to Paris stages such as La Bellevilloise and Sunside.

Expect an intimate, quietly daring set: telling silences, quicksilver turns and a fresh complicity that makes every piece feel like a small premiere within the auditorium’s welcoming penumbra.
