Marta Garrett is a singer, composer and Jazz teacher from Lisbon. She studied music since she was a child; until 2010 at the classical music school of the Gregorian Institute in Lisbon and to begin her jazz career at the Hot Clube school in Portugal. 

In 2012 she began her baccalaureate in Jazz at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisbon, studying with Maria João and other great Portuguese musicians for three years. She then took on the European Jazz Master's program, which concluded after 23 years of studies and performances in Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Paris and Trondheim.

She has always been very active in the Lisbon Jazz scene, being an enthusiast of jam sessions and always excited to perform and experiment with her peers. After her four-month residency at Maduro Bar at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Japan in 2017, she has participated in different projects of jazz, Brazilian and original music, such as The Bop Collective, with two albums released, Just in Trio, the duo's ZOE. and Canções d’Illa Deserta.

Mano a Mano is a group formed by brothers André and Bruno Santos, two of the most refined and talented Portuguese jazz guitarists. The two guitarists work as a duo to explore the world of possibilities that two guitars can offer, an instrument to which they add the Braguinha, a traditional instrument from Madeira, their native island. Mano a Mano mixes intelligent and solidly constructed sounds, precision in execution, sensitivity and personal empathy, full of elegance and with moments of virtuosity, making each concert a pleasant experience for the listener. For this concert, the Santos brothers are looking for a perfect musical ally with the voice of the talented Marta Garrett.
