The prolific Cuban pianist and composer Roberto Fonseca, world renowned in contemporary jazz circuits and a Grammy nominee, combines a wide variety of styles in his music, characterized by the mixture of Afro-Cuban rhythms with elements of soul, funk, blues and hip-hop.

Now returns to the Principal after the success achieved in the performance last July, when he accompanied Omara Portuondo celebrating his 90 years of life and music.

These two concerts that Fonseca will offer at the Teatre Principal in Maó and at the Teatre Principal in Palma will be largely based on his album Yesun.

"It’s the album I always wanted to make," says Fonseca about a record that combines everything from jazz and classical music to rap, funk and electronics, breaking the rules along the way. "Here are all my influences. All the sounds and energies that make me who I am".
