Sanne Huijbregts, vocals.

Dutch singer Sanne Huijbregts studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam from age 12 to 24; she completed six years of junior jazz studies, four years of undergraduate studies, and two years of a Master's degree in European jazz, with exchange programs in Copenhagen and Berlin. She graduated in June 2016 with a 9.5 GPA and a special mention for her creativity. With Peter Guidi's youth big bands, she gained extensive experience performing on stages such as the Bimhuis, the Concertgebouw, and the North Sea Jazz Festival, winning two awards: Best Soloist at the 2009 Meerjazz Festival and the 2010 PCC.

Her own project, EvenSanne (www.evensanne.com), won the Keep an Eye Foundation's The Records award in 2015. She is currently producing her third album, slated for release in early 2017. In the words of Hein van de Geyn: “Originality, flavor, impeccable diction, and tone are rare treats; Sanne possesses them all.”

Pep Grau, trumpet.

Pep Garau (Mallorca, 1989). Graduated in modern music from the Conservatori del Liceu (Barcelona). He has performed or recorded with musicians from diverse backgrounds, including Salvador Font Trio and Jordi Bonell, Jorge Pardo & OCSIB, Toni Vaquer Big Band, Perico Sambeat Workout, Victor Correa D.O. Next Generation, Martin Leiton Big Band, El Meñique (singer with Tito Puente's orchestra), Noel Gallagher (formerly of Oasis), The Impressions (the band founded by Curtis Mayfield), Orange Juice Funk Collective, Bob Margolin (guitarist for Muddy Waters), Barcelona Jazz Orquestra, El Petit de cal Eril, The Gramophone All Stars Big Band, Tromboranga, La Sonora Libre, La Sucursal S.A., etc.

Xavi Torres, piano.

The young Catalan pianist Xavi Torres, one of the most outstanding and promising musicians on the national jazz scene, currently lives in Amsterdam, where he has completed a Master's degree in Jazz and a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, after graduating with honors from ESMUC. He leads his own group, the Xavi Torres Trio, which was recently awarded "Best Group of the Year 2015" by the Association of Jazz and Modern Music Musicians of Catalonia (AMJM), awards in which they were also finalists in the categories of best album and best composer. In March 2015, they won the prestigious "Keep An Eye International Jazz Award." The previous year, Xavi Torres had already won the award for best soloist in the same competition. Also at the end of 2015, Xavi Torres won the Stichting Jazz Talent Award in Amsterdam.

Thomas Rolff, double bass.

Former guitarist Thomas Rolff (1964) chose the double bass as his main instrument in 2008. Drawn to its sound, rhythmic function, and the instrument's size, the choice proved to be no disappointment.

Since then, he has played with many of the Netherlands' leading jazz musicians, including Benjamin Herman, Maarten Hogenhuis, Peter Beets, John Engels, and many others. As a member of the popular and exhilarating band BRUUT!, he has performed on numerous occasions, with the North Sea Jazz Festival and Tokyo Jazz Festival among the most memorable.

Felix Schlarmann, drums.

Felix Schlarmann, originally from Germany, trained at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the Manhattan School of Music. In addition to leading his own group, he is a member of the Dutch power-jazz band BRUUT!, with whom he has performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival and many other international festivals. As the driving force behind the annual Jazzfest Amsterdam, as well as his monthly sessions at Studio/K, Felix Schlarmann is a key figure in understanding the current jazz scene. Lluc Casares, saxophone.

Lluc Casares (1990). The son of a musician, he began playing the clarinet under his father's tutelage and at the Escola de Música Pausa in the Guinardó neighborhood of Barcelona. He studied advanced clarinet and jazz saxophone at the ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya) with professors such as Xavier Figuerola and Eladio Reinón. He graduated in 2012 and that same year began a master's degree in performance at the CvA (Conservatorium Van Amsterdam) with professors Ferdinand Povel, Jasper Blom, Simon Rigter, and Joris Roelofs. During the first semester of the course In 2013-2014, he participated in an exchange program with Temple University (Philadelphia), where he received instruction from professors Dick Oatts, John Swana, Bruce Barth, and Norman David, among others. From the 2015-2016 academic year onwards, Lluc has been a professor at the CSMIB (Conservatori Superior de Música de les Illes Balears).
