The Cuban Jazz Syndicate is a solid formation led by drummer Michael Olivera that has the presence of huge Cuban musicians resident in Spain, who propose us a sound journey that starts from the island of Cuba and travels through various parts of the world, that will make us enjoy a unique and unrepeatable experience.
Their leader, Michael Olivera is born in Santa Clara (Cuba). He completed his studies at the National School of Art (Havana), and has had a great professional career from an early age. He is one of the most important artists in the current Cuban and Spanish music scene, with a long career as drummer, producer, composer and arranger.
Michael Olivera recorded his first work as bandleader, "Ashé", a word derived from the Yoruba language (Afro-Cuban), and whose meaning is "Bedición divina". After the success of ASHÈ, performing more than 40 concerts throughout Spain in just one year, Olivera presents his newly released work, OASIS, in a live that is characterized by joy, strength and Cubans, and in which it clearly reflects the experience of the musician and his companions, all leaders in their own projects.
