Jorge and Maikel Vistel come from Santiago de Cuba, from a family with an extensive musical tradition, since their father, Jorge Vistel Senior, trumpeter, was who introduced the young brothers to the world of music from the very beginning. Although only a couple of teenagers, Jorge and Maikel were already really skilled in jazz improvisation, being recognized for their musical talent and maturity.

The band was founded at ENA (National School of Art, in Havana), where the brothers studied. When they moved to Spain in 2006, they continued with their project, in a continuous evolution of their music. With his band have participated in various festivals and clubs around the world, such as the Monterey Jazz Festival (California), the Bermuda Jazz Festival (Hamilton), the Havana Jazz Festival and the Varadero Jazz Festival, among others.

Separately, each musician stands out, but together the connection of the brothers creates pure magic improvisation.
