NLF3
NLF3 (pronounced NLF trio) is an experimental post-rock jazz Project put together by the Brothers Nicolas and Fabrice Laureau along with Ludovic Morillon, creators of Prohibited Records. They are extremely demanding with their results, leading the way with an exhaustive search for new sounds driven by slowcore, but including more content of all rhythm types, from the most corrupt jazz to afrobeat of Fela Kuti and from the power of the guitar to the modern semantics of sampling and cutting-up.
Las aventuras del Príncipe Achmed
Original title: Die Abenteuer des Prinzen Achmed / Director: Lotte Reiniger / Country: Germany / Year: 1926 / Duration: 65 min.
Synopsis: It is the day of the great Caliphs birthday which is being celebrated in the city; a powerful wizard appears and presents their miraculous work: a horse that can fly through the air. The Caliph wants to have this magic steed no matter what.
With The adventures of Prince Achmed, the German director Lotte Reiniger created the first full length animated film in movie history. The style was based on a silhouette animation technique she created herself, which involved manipulated cutouts made from cardboard and thin sheets of lead under a camera, filmed with hand coloured film.
