“A SEA OF JAZZ” IS THE APPROACH COURSE TO JAZZ DIRECTED BY ROBERTO FONSECA THAT WILL BE HELD ON DECEMBER 3 AND 4 AT CASA DES POBLE D’ESPORLES
A unique opportunity to discover how jazz is present in the different musical styles that we all know. From classical music, pop or rock to hip hop or Latin music, the structures of jazz are perfectly recognizable for all of them.

From the hand of Roberto Fonseca, you will be able to discover both the musical language of jazz and its harmonic progression or rhythmic formation. A fascinating exploration of the melodic, sound and rhythmic relationships that make up this form of expression with which you will be able to squeeze your musical instrument whatever it is.

Jazz is not just another musical genre. Rich in nuance and brimming with creativity, jazz tends to break down the rigid structures that characterize other genres. Music that invites you to play creatively and gives rise to improvisation, promoting originality, fluidity, freedom and musical flexibility.

On Saturday there will be two shifts: in the morning, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and in the afternoon, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. On Sunday there will be a single morning session from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
