Blending soprano sax and voice, Eva Fernández crafts an intimate world where song and jazz meet. The trio —with Josep Munar and Enric Fuster— is the very line-up behind Yo Pregunto (2018), the recording that crystallised her signature: closeness, poetry and a finely drawn swing.

On stage the sound is chamber-like: Munar’s guitar sketches clear spaces, Fuster’s drums breathe and anchor, and Fernández threads melody with poise, moving between warm vocals and the clean soprano sax line. Originals and readings that look forward while keeping roots in view.  

Inside theChurch of the Convent of Sant Domingo, with a December indoor set-up, we go for careful sound reinforcement that respects the stone and favours closeness—a room that focuses attention and lets every nuance breathe. An evening for close listening: music that lights the room from silence.
